The Isle of Wight is located off the South coast of mainland
England. It is sometimes called Little England due to the diverse range

Getting Around the Island
Southern Vectis buses www.islandbuses.info operate all around the island. Their route map and timetable can be found online.
Island Line www.island-line.co.uk run a a passenger railway on the Isle of Wight, over eight and a half miles of track from Ryde, through Brading Sandown, Lake and Shanklin.
The Alpha Group www.thealphagroupiow.co.uk includes Alpha Bus and Coach services, Alpha Cars and Alpha Taxis.
If you are travelling from farther afield the international mainland
airports are located near to the Island at Southampton and Bournemouth. Smaller airfields at Sandown and Bembridge are for local charter and private flights.
