Beaufort House was originally a victorian residence built circ 1870's. When entering our hallway you will see many original features.

We have a light and spacious dining room which looks out over our garden. Breakfast is served between 8.30 and 9.15 am. Help yourself to a wide selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt and juices from the buffet table and then move on to our waitress served cooked breakfast. We use locally sourced produce wherever possible and have received many glowing compliments about our breakfasts.

Early breakfasts are available on request.

Our bar is normally open from 6.30 to 10.30pm, but if you want a drink during the day we will always try to accomodate you. Drinks can be taken on our deck overlooking our sunny garden.

Ajoining the bar and dining room we have a TV lounge/playroom equipped with Freeview TV, plenty of toys and games for the children and a darts board and air hockey table for the adults.

Children are welcome to play in the garden.

We also have a quiet lounge equipped with books, magazines and a selection of board games.

We have 11 en-suite bedrooms and 3 standard rooms. All are well- appointed and have Tvs, hairdryers, radio/alarm clocks and tea/coffee making facilities

We have a good mixture of Double, Twin and Family rooms. We also have a Family Suite, consisting of two separate bedrooms, one room has a double bed and the other two sets of bunks. It has its own en-suite and can sleep up to 2 adults and 4 children.

Cots, cot-sides, high chairs, night lights and many other baby items are available on request. We will happily warm bottles for you.

We also cater for group bookings-including school and educational trips.

We have a small dance floor so can also accomodate social events as well.

On arrival you are given a front door key and are then free to come and go as you want. So if you wish you can enjoy the night life Sandown has to offer - all within walking distance - with no concern about having to be back at a specific time. Parking is available on our small car park at the front of the hotel.

PLEASE NOTE- for the comfort and safety of all guests we operate a strict no smoking policy. Smoking is allowed in a designated area of the garden.

We continually strive to improve and ensure you have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. We believe the Beaufort House has something to offer all, couples both young and old, families and groups, at all times of the year.

We have recently been awarded a Bronze Green Island Award. We try to recycle as much as possible and try to keep our 'carbon footprint' as small as possible! We try to encourage our guests to do the same!
